Despite the best efforts of some advertisers, we still see stereotypes in the media we consume, especially ads. However in Britain, there’s an entity called the Advertising Standards Authority that doesn’t have the authority to ban offending ads but can recommend that certain campaigns be pulled. It’s a new world, and companies that are delivering outdated stereotypes are no longer resonating.”
