• How does the movement use the Elements of Dance (space, time, and energy/force) to create meaning in the work for you?
• Describe and comment on the music and costuming. Consider the following questions: did the music/costume play an important role in the dance, and did the music/costume influence the form of the dance or vice versa?
• Research about the dance you watch. How does the movement create a greater understanding of the culture and time period the work was created in? Your research can go beyond the work to include the choreographer, time period, country, arts movement of the time, etc.
