Thinking of the texts of Cornel West, Kierkegaard, and Paul, can you explore and define this connection further? How might we find death in love, or love in death? Distinguishing between love and lust might be a crucial step in your analysis.
Prompt 2: How and why do we cover up the thought of death in our own lives? Take Heidegger, Yancy, and/or Kierkegaard and attempt to first describe in what ways we deny death. After an analysis of this denial, attempt to construct a manner in which we could live more authentically towards our own death, and more properly conceive of our own deaths.
