The American Revolution.

Which battle do you think is the most important of the war and why?

Lexington? Bunker Hill? Trenton? Saratoga? Yorktown? Something else?

In this country we have the great privilege of having many very important rights specifically written down in the Bill of Rights. Read over the Bill of Rights (The first ten amendments to the Constitution)

After reading over the first ten amendments, answer this question:

Which amendment or part of an amendment in the Bill of Rights is your favorite and why?

Also read over the 27th Amendment (ratified in 1992). Note that this was one of the original 17 amendments sent to the House of Representatives in 1789. Why do you think it did not pass until 203 years later?
