Strategies to Combat Terrorism: Kinetic and Non-Kinetic Approaches

 

Kinetic and Non-kinetic strategy to counter terrorism
Identifying the issue/area related to counterterrorism: to what extent does the student clearly identify an issue or area and how it could influence counterterrorism policies and/or outcomes related to counterterrorism
Explaining the importance of the issue: the degree and thoroughness by which the student explains how and why the specific issue could affect counterterrorism policies and or outcomes related to counterterrorism
Identifying and discussing the challenges related to the issue: the extent to which the student explains the challenges that exist for policymakers regarding the specific issue/area related to counterterrorism
Addressing the challenges: the degree and manner by which the students discusses how policymakers can overcome the challenges (i.e., challenges presented by the area/issue in relation to counterterrorism) in attempting to produce optimal outcomes (from their particular perspective: international community, or specific nation/nations, etc…)
Incorporating supporting material: the manner by which the student incorporates supporting material (i.e., incorporating course material and additional sources into their paper as appropriate)
