The paper must encompass a biological or evolutionary perspective on Sexual Behavior (although the entire paper need not be like this). Locate and read at least seven recent articles pertaining to the topic. Articles should have been published between 1990 and the present (except in cases where key papers relevant to the topic were published prior to this.
Papers should be 7-10 typed pages, double-spaced, 10 to 12 point font, 1” margins. In the interests of conservation, please print double-sided.
A brief (1 – 2 paragraph) description of Sexual Behavior. This must make it clear that you have started researching your paper and know something about your chosen topic. The description will vary according to topic but you should include reference to the key points that you will be making, or lines of evidence / arguments that you will be considering.
Your proposal must also include AT LEAST 3 of the original references that you have gathered for your paper. Make sure that these are given in proper referencing style
For the purposes of your paper, narrow the scope to address a particular aspect of your chosen topic (e.g. Menstrual taboos or the Grandmother Hypothesis).

Write an essay explaining how these problems would be viewed by a sociological theory of your choosing. (You may find info about theory in chapter 1 of your text, as well as in the “Understanding Sociological Theory” resource in your Course Materials on the home page.) The three traditional major perspectives are:

-Structural-Functionalism
-Symbolic Interactionism
-Conflict Theory

You may, however, use other appropriate sociological theories you have encountered in your learning.

Using this theory, address the following questions:

-How can the theory you’ve chosen help explain why the social problem exists, or why it qualifies as a problem?
-How can the theory help explain why the problem still exists?
-How do you think the theory might inform possible solutions to the problem?
