One hallmark of professionalism is self-reflection. The ability to reflect back on your learning will allow you to continue to synthesize new learning with current knowledge. Please review the course objectives in the Syllabus. Reflect upon your learning in this course and describe in detail how you have met each of the course objectives.

Self-reflection

Why is self-reflection an important component in instructional design? How can this foster a positive teaching experience and learning experience for both students and families?

Self Reflection

As a center director, you would like to offer the families of the children in your program more opportunity to become involved in the center. After reviewing the Strengthening Families program, you decide to institute a Parent Cafe for the parents of your center. You also need to remind parents that parent-teacher conferences are coming up and that parents are invited to volunteer in the classrooms as another way to get involved. To spread the word, you create a flyer to send home with each child. This flyer will serve as the invitation but also needs to entice parents to attend the event and volunteer, and remind them about conferences.

Format:

When completing the weekly scenario, you must be sure to include both a focus assignment and a self-reflection. These must be clearly labeled using headings. Without the proper labels, I must assume that this step was not completed, and partial credit will be lost.

Rate your credibility with the series of scales, Have peer and a supervisor complete the same series of scales about you, but do not show them your results or let them know how you rated yourself. Compare and contrast your evaluation with the credibility assessments that your peer and supervisor completed about you. What credibility aspects did you agree with or disagree with? What can you do to improve and to decrease these areas of differences? The paper should be at least 300 words.
