Sampling, reliability, and validity of your research proposal.

focus on the sampling, reliability, and validity of your research proposal. This section will include information on sampling, reliability, and validity.
The following components should be addressed in your paper this week:
Information on your sample
• Sampling basic information (age, gender, criteria, etc.)
• Sample size
• Explain why your sample is appropriate for your study
Reliability
• Explain how your data collection process is consistent and reliable
• Explain why your measurement tool is reliable
Validity
• Explain how you will ensure you have a valid sample
• Explain how you tested the validity of your measurement tool

Reliability, Validity and Internal Consistency

Respond to the following short answer questions from Morgan, Leech, Gloeckner, & Barrett textbook:
D4.1 Interpreting Reliability. Interpret the interrater reliability and paired t-test results for the ‘visualization test’
and visualization’ scores using Output 7.2. What might be another reason for the pattern of findings obtained
besides those already discussed in Chapter 7?
D4.2 Interpreting Validity. If one were to delete one of the 14 items in Output 7.3 based on factor analysis which
one would it be? Explain your answer.
D4.3 Interpreting Internal Consistency. Interpret the Chronbach alphas in Output 7.4 a, b, and c. What is the
internal consistency reliability? Explain your answer.
