Portrayal of Mental Health in Television Shows: A Comparative Analysis of “13 Reasons Why” and “BoJack Horseman”

Select two media to analyze. You can choose a book (does not have to be academic), news story, movie or TV show, podcast, or some other form of everyday material to analyze. You can choose two of the same types of media or two different media.

Once you have selected your media you will then decide what you want to write about. There is flexibility in how you wish to analyze the media you have chosen. The purpose of this paper is to show what you have learned in class and that you can apply it to situations outside of academia. You will need to show critical thinking skills and the ability to critically analyzing contemporary media.

It will need to be 2-3 pages (double spaced). Make sure you include a reference page (this is not included in your page count). See rubric for how to receive full credit.
