As a health care manager, you will be in charge of a team of employees who will look to you for guidance, expectations, and motivation. Consider what kind of manager or leader you’d like to be and the actions that will help you.

Prepare a two – three page paper that compares managers and leaders. Be sure to include a manager’s functions, roles, and skills as well as the traits and competencies of a leader. Give a personal example for each, and use a table to help this comparison. Incorporate material from sources other than the text and provide a list of works cited. Use APA citation format. As in all written assignments, good writing skills are expected.
