As a nurse, you may encounter incivility, lateral violence, or outright bullying in the workplace. Provide an example of these behaviors from your experience or a news story.
Discuss the nurse’s role and a leader’s role in the incivility example.
Explain how interprofessional collaboration will help reduce errors, provide higher-quality care, and increase safety. Provide an example of a current or emerging trend that will require more, or change the nature of, interprofessional collaboration.
1) Introduce and Define the ” Nurse-Patient Relationship” theory to construct a narrative (story) about your experience in clinical or simulation with a patient.
2) Explain how this theory applies to your clinical experience with the patient.
3) Must include any 3 of the following when writing about your personal experience:
Demonstration of or lack of:
*leadership
*Interprofessional collaboration
*therapeutic communication
*holistic care (social determinants / cultural considerations)
*safety for the client
Reflect on the personal knowledge and skills gained throughout the course. Journal entries should address one or more of the areas stated below. In the Topic 10 graded submission, each of the areas below should be addressed as part of the summary submission.
