Read the first two sections (Introduction & Systematic Review of the Literature) from the “Patient Safety In Primary Care (CPSI & BC Patient Safety & Quality Council, 2010). Given the more recent awareness of the patient safety crisis in Canada, please think about the following questions:
o Has the development in health information technology impacted patient safety in Canada?
o How can the APN be involved in client safety initiatives and what additional education is needed to include this in the APN role?
