With regard to gun control, some states implement their own legislation. Some make gun ownership less restrictive, while others are more restrictive. Share your views on gun control and provide your reasoning to support your perspective.

Research and write a comprehensive paper on the history of the issue, the development of public policy on the issue, and the current status of the issue. Your paper should include and address areas covered in the texts and your studies this semester, including BUT NOT LIMITED to: •Were policy decisions made on normative or positive bases? •What inputs to the policy process were included and were most and least effective? •How did politics, as opposed to public policy, affect the development of public policy on theissue? •What official and unofficial actors participated in the policy process on this issue? •What type of agenda(s) were set, by whom, and how were the agendas addressed by thoseresponsible for implementation? •What types of policies have been established?
