Global health focuses on understanding healthcare in an international and interdisciplinary context. It includes the learning, research, and practice of medicine for improving health and healthcare equity for populations worldwide.

In this course, you will explore major global health challenges and their impacts on healthcare delivery systems. But, before you start examining these aspects of global health, it’s time to introduce yourself to your peers and your instructor.

In your initial post, address the following:

Introduce yourself and identify your discipline. Include some information about your educational or professional background.
What role do you currently play or plan to play in healthcare and healthcare systems? What significance does your role have on a healthcare team?
How is your worldview of the “right to healthcare” informed by the scholarly evidence and your professional role? As much as possible, try to fairly, objectively, and briefly characterize consensus views related to this topic, while acknowledging areas where opinions diverge.
Support any claims that you make with scholarly sources from the literature.

Follow the link to “The 17 SDG Goals” found below.
ANSWER: After reading the UN SDG website, use what you learned to answer the four questions below in “mini-essay” format. You will write an essay on the issue of global health.
You will examine how the global community is working to address the issue. The pandemic COVID-19 can be examined in this context. The sharing of data and vaccine diplomacy are just some of the ways that the state actors have attempted to tackle the global health crisis. You will use the book chapters and other recommended material while making your argument.
While elaborating the global issue, you will also offer suggestions on how to effectively deal with it.
The essay should be at three paragraphs long and 500-600 words (10 words more or less fine) and should be well-cited. In-text citations and references are not included in the word count. T

Some people believe that disorders such as depression are problems of the middle class and the affluent, or represent a “medicalization of misery,” and, therefore, do not deserve a share of scarce resources. What is the evidence linking poverty with mental disorders? How might poverty interact with mental health?
