Emergency management

You can do literally write anything emergency management related as long as you follow this prompt, please.
Prompt: For this assignment, you will imagine that you work for your local emergency management office (if you do not already). Your community was recently struck by a disaster that is prone to reoccur in your particular area, such as a hurricane, wildfire, flooding, or other disaster. Your supervisor has now assigned you the responsibility of developing a better plan for mitigation of this type of disaster. You are well aware that developing such a plan requires research instead of rash decisions. You are to prepare a proposal for the research you believe is needed that includes, at a minimum, the following: Identify your location and give an overview of the type of recurring disaster. Discuss the impact this type of disaster has had in the past on business, tourism, taxes, and community expansion. Describe how you will obtain the necessary data to help formulate a mitigation plan. Discuss how this historical data can be used to help develop a disaster mitigation plan. Explain how your research will benefit future emergency management decisions in the community and overall community welfare
