In the land of free trade, the public does not view all industries as equal. Do you believe that is ethical? Do you believe that some industries are unfairly targeted? Should it be consumers’ choice to partake in products that are not healthy for them, or do those companies have an ethical obligation to protect people? In this assignment, you will choose one (1) industry to write about. Possible industries to research could be tobacco, soda, alcohol, casinos, or candy companies, just to name a few. Write a one and a half to two (1½ – 2) page paper in which you: Become an advocate for either the consumer or the industry. Prepare an argument explaining the major reasons why you support either the consumer or the industry. Explain the role capitalism plays in corporate decision making. Discuss if you believe it is possible for a company to cater to both its best interest and that of the consumer conjointly or if one always has to prevail. Justify your response. Use at least two (2) quality references. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as academic resources. Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements: Typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides. Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, your name, your professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length. Include a reference page. Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length. A critical analysis of a contemporary film in terms of stereotypes and/or racism
The class is an history class which learn about History of Native People in Canadian and American Popular Culture. The Pocahontas
The Peter Pan are the two movies what I think I will use for this topic.
The essay is to provide a good summary of the plot, specific instances of stereotypes and/or racism, an analysis of how and why such instances are problematic, an overview of how the film was received by the general public, and some observations on what both the nature of the film and the reaction to it tells us about Native people in popular culture. Stereotypes can, of course, be either positive or negative, while racism is invariably negative.
A critical analysis of efforts to address stereotypes and/or racism
Choose one organized effort or campaign that challenged or continues to challenge prominent stereotypes and/or racist portrayals of Native people in Canada and/or the United States. This could be in the field of sports, entertainment, fashion, music, or any other field. It is to be 1,000-1,200-words in length and in proper essay format (with a title page and citation of sources in the text and in a reference list at the end). Students are to provide a good overview of the conflict/issue (including, if possible, some historical background), a description of the specific efforts to challenge or counteract the stereotypical/racist portrayal of Native people, the reaction to those efforts (from both the general public and those who created such a portrayal), a summary of the results of such efforts or campaign, and some reflection as to what the whole issue tells us about the nature of Native people in popular culture.
Merck Case Study Advanced Business-Needs exhibits to be done also
GROUP CASE STUDY 3 INSTRUCTIONSComplete a case study of Mereck (your instructor will assign the specific company for the case study at the beginning of Module/Week 6), in the case section of the text (e.g. Case Number 3).
A formal, in-depth case study analysis requires you to utilize the entire strategic management process. Assume your group is a consulting team asked by the Mereck to analyze its external/internal environment and make strategic recommendations. You must include exhibits to support your analysis and recommendations.
The case study must include these components:
A total of 4-5 pages of text plus the exhibits
Cover page (must include the Mereck, your group name, a list of the active team members, the date of submission, and a references page; the document must follow current APA guidelines)
Matrices, which must be exhibits/attachments in the appendix and not part of the body of the analysis (The Strategy Club has excellent templates/examples for exhibits and matrices: https://strategyclub.com/free-student-template/)
Case study deliverables (text must follow this order with current APA level headings for each component):
Pro-Forma Financial Statements (I/S, B/S and Statement of Cash Flows) with deltas out 3 years and analysis
Each year must have 2 columns: 1 with your strategy and 1 without your strategy.
Include Pro-Forma ratios for the first year out with deltas contrasting from the most current year’s ratios.
Net Present Value analysis of proposed strategy’s new cash flow and EPS/EBIT analysis
NOTE: To construct the first cash flow (cf1) at the very minimum, the new revenue from your strategy(s) must be discounted back to the present value by calculating EBIT and that figure will be your cfn for each year. cf0 (initial cost of your strategy), cf1 (discounted cash flow first year), r (opportunity cost of capital, the rate of the next best alternative use of cash/debt/equity resources).
NPV=-?cf?_0+ ?cf?_1/(1+r)^1 +?cf?_2/(1+r)^2 +?cf?_3/(1+r)^3 …?cf?_n/(1+r)^n
Specific recommended strategy and long term objectives
Explain why you chose the strategy, and discuss how much the strategy will cost to implement and how much new revenue your strategy will create. Include your action timetable agenda for accomplishing your strategy.
Proposed new business model
Have your group leader place the results of the case study analysis in a single document and post it.

Future Directions in Contemporary Learning and Education
For this assessment, you will analyze how educational innovations are influencing nursing education and how you, as a nurse educator, can use these innovations to create a rich learning environment for your students.
You will begin this assessment by identifying a course that you will develop. This course could be used in a formal academic setting, or it could be used by a nurse educator in a clinical setting.
As part of your assessment, you will analyze an educational innovation and its effect on student outcomes. You will use current literature to provide examples of how the innovation is currently being used in organizations, and how they have benefited from this innovation. You will also explore how this innovation has impacted the role of the nurse educator.
Additionally, you will conceptualize a course of your choice, using the innovation you have selected. You will also examine how you would go about soliciting feedback from your nursing/nurse educator peers and how you would evaluate that feedback about the chosen innovation. Further, you will discuss insights you have gained through your research as well as how you may use this innovation for the future.
Finally, you will reflect upon your development as a nurse educator, to stay abreast of technological and educational innovations.
Requirements:
A. Identify one of the following educational innovations that you will use to impact student outcomes in your course:
• MOOC (Massive Open Online Course)
• adaptive learning technologies
• simulation/gaming strategies
• flipped classroom setting
• inquiry-based learning
1. Discuss how two organizations are currently using the innovation chosen in part A, using credible sources.
Note: Credible sources include scholarly articles from reputable sources, including peer reviewed journals and publications, published within the past five years, and websites from professional organizations or governmental web sites (American Nurses Association, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, US Census Bureau).
Note: You may select an academic setting or health-related organization outside of the nursing field for part A1.
2. Discuss how the two organizations from part A1 have benefited from implementing the chosen innovation from part A, using credible sources.
3. Describe how the chosen innovation may change the role of the faculty.
4. Discuss how the nurse educator will prepare himself or herself to incorporate the chosen innovation into the academic setting.
B. Create a framework for a nursing course by doing the following:
1. Identify the title of your course.
2. Identify the competencies of your course.
3. Explain how you will implement the chosen innovation for or within your course.
C. Evaluate the process of using the chosen innovation within your course framework by doing the following:
1. Discuss how you might solicit feedback from your nursing/nurse educator peers about the chosen innovation used in your course from part B.
a. Discuss how you would evaluate feedback from your nursing/nurse educator peers about the chosen innovation used in your course.
2. Discuss two advantages of using the chosen innovation in your course.
3. Discuss two disadvantages of using the chosen innovation in your course.
4. Discuss how your chosen innovation may affect student outcomes in your course.
5. Discuss how you would integrate the chosen innovation into courses that you may develop in the future.
D. When you use sources, include all in-text citations and references in APA format.
Note: For definitions of terms commonly used in the rubric, see the Rubric Terms web link included in the Evaluation Procedures section.
Note: When using sources to support ideas and elements in an assessment, the submission MUST include APA formatted in-text citations with a corresponding reference list for any direct quotes or paraphrasing. It is not necessary to list sources that were consulted if they have not been quoted or paraphrased in the text of the assessment.
Note: No more than a combined total of 30% of a submission can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from outside sources, even if cited correctly. For tips on using APA style, please refer to the APA Handout web link included in the APA Guidelines section.
Police Brutality Against blacks in The U.S
Your introduction should include all of the key background information for your research
paper. Much like your introductions to any other type of paper, your introduction here should answer the three key introduction questions: What is this? Why am I reading it? What should I do with this information? You should provide context for your paper by introducing the race relations you plan to explore, the historical context, and the research questions you plan to answer. This section of your outline will include a lot of the information in your research proposal in paragraph form. The introduction is often 12 pages long because the background information and context of your research are so important. Your introduction should frame your topic and indicate what is called your “research gap” the gap in current information that y?our paper?will fill. Your introduction should end with your research questions (by answering these questions you will fill the gap) which can be written as part of your sentence (see above) or in list form (below). If you like, you can even include a Level 2 section header for your research questions.
Research Questions (Level 2 Header) The questions I plan to answer in this introduction are:
1. What is this?
2. Why am I reading it?
3. What should I do with this information?
My Next Big Section (?Level 1 Header)
The way you divide your paper is largely up to you, but it should be based on the
information you want to include to answer your research questions. The first section of a research paper is often a review of the literature on the topic to show that you, in fact, have done your research and know what you’re talking about. A literature review is most often a

?summary of the information you found in your sources without any value judgements. You are mainly attempting to show that you have credibility as writer on this topic and that you have found a gap in the current research.
Next Medium Section (Level 2 Header)
Within your first big section (after your introduction, of course), you may want to include
any number of Level 2 section headers to more clearly define and introduce the different information you are presenting in your paper.
Level 3 Header
You may even want to include a third level of subdivision to set off important information. For example, if you were writing a paper on the history of Superman, you may have sections that look like this:
A Brief History of Superman?(Level 1 Header)
Here you would show that you have done research on Superman Who created him and
for what purpose? You would include any background information you need to explain the context of who Superman is and why he exists in our society.
The Creators of Superman (Level 2 Header)
You may have a lot to say about the writers who originally created Superman. If you do,
you could have a separate section devoted to explaining who those writers were and why/how they came up with this idea.
Jerry Siegel?(Level 3 Header)
Since there is more than one original creator of Superman, you could use a Level 3 heading to introduce each of them individually.
Earlier publications (Level 4 Header)
You may even need to include a fourth level of detail if you wanted to explain, for example, that Jerry Siegel produced a very limited (and very valuable) five editions his own science fiction magazine, ?Science Fiction,1?prior to creating Superman with his partner, Joe Shuster.
A fifth level of detail is unlikely in a paper of 6 pages (?Level 5 Header). If you were writing a much longer paper (which you will, later on), you may need a fifth level section header. If you do, you basically just make the first sentence of your paragraph either italic or bold to indicate that this paragraph is the beginning of a new subsection. Please feel free to experiment with all levels of section headers for this paper, but be realistic! Try to think through the best way to organize and present your research.
Conclusion
Other common sections of a research paper (which vary greatly depending on the type of research you are doing) include: Research, Process, Results, Findings, Discussion, Applications, and Conclusion. You should certainly have an applications/significance section and a conclusion section for this paper, but the other headings are entirely up to you. Under each heading you include, I would like you to put a brief (12 sentences) summary of what information you plan to include in that section this includes information from sources, analysis of that source material, quotes you would like to use, and (if applicable) how that section contributes to answering your research questions.
?1 As always, you will need to include footnotes each time you cite source material. “Publication History of Superman, W?ikipedia?, July, 2011, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publication_history_of_Superman.
Also look up the death of Sandra Bland, Eric Garnder, Michael Brown, and Freddy Grey. These were victims that were killed by police brutality. include in the paper. thanks
