Create 6 different grade level charts showing the words per minute (wpm) that should be read in each level. Start with 1st Grade 1001(1.1)-1012 (1.12), make sure to indicate the words per minute highlighted as the norm. 1st Grade 1001-1012, WPM 50-80 2nd Grade 1013-1024 WPM 70-100 3rd Grade 1025 -1036 WPM 100-130 4th Grade 1037-1048 WPM 130-140 5th Grade 1049-1060 WPM 140-+160 6th Grade 1061-1072 WPM 160-180 So I guess if this would be labeled on a chart it would be x=WPM 0-180 and y=PACE Sprouting to Success Reading PACE Chart Level 1: 1st Grade Level 1 1001 (1.1 Grade Level) 1002 (1.2 Grade Level) 1003 (1.3 Grade Level) 1004 (1.4 Grade Level) and so on all the way to 1012 (1.12 Grade Level) Then you will make a line graph on the chart showing the words per minute that is norm for 1st Grade 50-80 Sprouting to Success Reading PACE Chart Level 2: 2nd Grade 1013-1024 1013 (2.1 Grade Level) and so on all the way to 2.12) Then go to Sprouting to Success Reading PACE Chart 3rd Grade 1025-1036 Also write this on the bottom of each chart: Number of PACE’s Completed Quarter 1:_______ Quarter 2:_______ Quarter 3:_______ Quarter 4:_______ San Diego Quick Assessment Independent:_____ Instructional:_____ Frustration:______ On the right top part of the chart be sure to write the grade level, The W.P.M. for that grade, _____Pace%,_______Other ____ Please send me an example of the first one that you complete so that I can ensure that it is up to par.
