The integrative paper of this dissertation integrates the theoretical and practical ideas and empirical findings related to the student’s program of research that the student has carried out during the program. It offers a summary statement of the student’s mixed method study related to selected problem of practice. The integrative paper informs the reader about the aims, methods, and results of the qualitative and quantitative strands of the student’s inquiry and conveys a holistic understanding of the intellectual contributions of the programmatic line of research for evidence based management and theory.
The integrative paper presents briefly the driving research questions and motivation and organizes, synthesizes and triangulates the main contributions of the qualitative and quantitative strand of the study in accordance with mixed method principles. The integrative paper synthesized main observations and conclusions about both qualitative and quantitative projects, its research design and separate phases, and presents a reflective statement about the significance of the work. The integrative paper should be equal in style to those of the qualitative and quantitative research studies but written in a condensed form and should not be more than 25 pages long.
