Using these 2 poems: Shakespearean Sonnet 116, Edna St. Vincent Millay Sonnet “Love is not All” Answer each question: 1.) A sonnet is one example of closed form. Closed form follows a pattern or “recipe” established and mimicked by other poets. Notice that Millay mimics Shakespeare’s form, style, and message.
