Step 2: Do some research on this artist. Create one slide of the most major biographical information on this artist. Be selective. I don’t want a complete biography by any means, but did you find out anything interesting about this person AS AN ARTIST? Put the artist’s name and picture on one slide and then on the next one, give us a little information. Choose a few of the most interesting points about this artist’s life you’d like to highlight.
Step 3: Choose two of this artist’s paintings to focus on. Put the first painting on a slide to itself. Then on the next slide, discuss this painting. Use bullet points rather than paragraphs. Present themes, purposes, styles, techniques etc. Then do the same thing for the next painting.
You will need a minimum of 3 sources total. Please do not use Wikipedia. Try reputable websites such as museum websites or educational websites.
Step 4: List your sources in MLA style. Please consult this link for formatting your citation in MLA style. Links to an external site. You can also use a citation generator, and Microsoft Word also will help you generate citations.
