My motivation in life is driven by my family. They provide me with constant support and encouragement, pushing me to strive for success. Knowing that I have their love and belief in me fuels my determination to achieve my goals and give back to them in the future.

As Celeste Headlee mentions in the video, my mission in life is to leave a positive impact on others and continuously pursue personal growth and success while doing what I love. I aim to make a difference in people’s lives, whether it’s through my work, relationships, or contributions to society.

One goal that aligns with my motivation and mission is to establish a successful business that not only brings financial stability but also allows me to make a positive impact on my community. This goal will enable me to fully express my potential by utilizing my skills, knowledge, and passion in a way that benefits others.

Actively working towards or achieving this goal would allow me to experience two qualities of self-actualization: autonomy and personal growth. By running a successful business, I would have the autonomy to make decisions and shape the direction of my work, allowing me to express my creativity and take ownership of my achievements. Additionally, the continuous pursuit of personal growth and improvement is inherent in establishing and running a business, as it requires adapting to challenges, acquiring new skills, and expanding my knowledge. This would affirm my sense of self-actualization by providing opportunities for self-expression, fulfillment, and personal development.

Working towards or achieving this goal would make me feel a deep sense of fulfillment, purpose, and satisfaction. It would give me a sense of pride in my accomplishments and provide a lasting source of happiness and contentment. Knowing that I am actively working towards making a positive impact on others and pursuing my passions would bring a profound sense of joy and fulfillment to my life.

Establishing a successful business would allow me to contribute and give back to others in multiple ways. Firstly, through creating job opportunities, I would be able to provide employment and financial stability to individuals within my community. Additionally, I could use the platform and resources of my business to support charitable causes, promote sustainability and social responsibility, and actively engage in community outreach programs. By giving back and making a difference in the lives of others, I can contribute to creating a better world.

One of Maslow’s Obstacles to Growth that may impede the manifestation of my goal is “lack of honesty.” This obstacle refers to being dishonest with oneself about one’s true desires, aspirations, and capabilities. It may hinder progress by leading to self-doubt, fear of failure, or pursuing paths that are not aligned with one’s authentic self. Overcoming this obstacle requires introspection, self-reflection, and being true to oneself in order to pursue goals that genuinely resonate with one’s values and passions.

One inner conflict that keeps me from materializing my goal is the fear of failure. This conflict arises from the uncertainty and risks associated with starting a business. The fear of not being successful or not achieving the desired outcomes can be paralyzing and prevent me from taking necessary actions or fully committing to the pursuit of my goal. Overcoming this inner conflict requires developing resilience, embracing failure as a learning opportunity, and cultivating a growth mindset that sees setbacks as stepping stones towards success.

The skill of emotional intelligence from Steiner’s “Achieving Emotional Literacy” that would benefit me in achieving my goal is self-awareness. By being aware of my emotions, strengths, weaknesses, and triggers, I can navigate challenges more effectively, make informed decisions, and cultivate healthy relationships with others. Self-awareness enables me to manage stress, maintain focus on my goals, and adapt to changing circumstances in order to stay on track towards manifesting my goal.

These action steps directly contribute to the goal of establishing a successful business by providing a solid foundation through research, acquiring necessary knowledge and skills, and exploring funding options. By setting specific dates for these steps, I can ensure accountability and measure progress towards manifesting my goal.
