Journal will pop back up and go to the year 2014 and Issue 1.  Journal article will pop up and click on the pdf link Emmanuelle Tournne Jouannet and Anne Peters, “A Forum for New Research” in The Journal of the History of International Law, v. 16 pp. 1-8 (2014).  Read the article and design an essay addressing the following: summarize the authors’ portrayal of the early period of international law; why is there a new interest in the subject?; what are new issues?; who are the new subjects that did not previously exist in international law?; and what are new approaches to study the subject matter?  How does this portrayal differ from that of your textbook?
Submit an essay of some 4 pages (suggested) double-spaced on the above topic (footnoted with bibliography).
