Innovation and Patient Communication

Primary Post: Find a news article or short video clip from a popular news network about an innovation or technological advancement that impacts patient care published within the last 6 months. This can be found with a simple search of your preferred search engine- google, safari, bing, etc. Evaluate the science/research behind the news article or video segment-Is it accurate (you may need to complete additional research on the topic to determine accuracy)? Does it have an impact on nursing? Is the nursing impact discussed? Are nurses used as experts in the article? Share the article or video clip, at the beginning of your post (or include as an attachment) with a brief article summary. Then discuss any research findings and your answers to these questions with rationale in your initial DB post. Include a citation and APA formatted reference for the news article or video clip and any scholarly literature you reviewed to evaluate the merit of the article.
