How to be an Effective Manager in Today’s Workplace”

With that in mind, the title of your Final exam is: “How to be an Effective Manager in Today’s Workplace”
For this assignment, you will be required to interview a business manager that you admire. He/she can be your own family, somebody you work with or a leader in the community. Please be prepared to ask them the following questions:
1) What is their job title? How long has he/she done this type of work? What are his/her responsibilities? How many employees does he/she manage?
2) What is his/her preferred leadership style? Ask he/she what are the top knowledge and skills needed to be an effective manager in today’s workforce?
3) Does he/she keep up with current events? How do outside factors such as economic, political, and technological changes affect his/her organization? What has he/she done to proactively plan for that?
4) As a manager/leader, what is his/her personal ethical beliefs in managing his/her employees? How does he/she inspire his/her employees and resolve professional ethical dilemmas?
