Family involvement at an early age is very important for all of our children. In order to encourage all of your families to become involved, plan a Family Night Activity for your classroom or center. This activity should be something fun and unique that will make the families want to come out and participate. Please make sure you include all of the following in the assignment.
1. Plan what you activity will be.
2. Create a fun and exciting invitation to send out to your families.
3. Include a 1-2 page outline of what you will do to make this the best family night ever (food, activities, door prizes, speakers, etc.). Make sure you are very specific on each item.
4. Write a 1-2 paragraph statement on how you will follow up with this activity and how you will ensure the parents liked it.
