Juan:
Juan is a 62 yo Hispanic male who is HIV positive. He is married and has three children
He collects social security disability insurance, Medicare and the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).
As his case manager he has asked you for assistance with obtaining a prescription. He was feeling challenged navigating the system and felt he was getting the run around from the pharmacy, Medicare and ADAP.
As the social worker you are being asked to help him by reaching out to the various groups to assist with obtaining the prescription.
