Consider a change that would benefit your community. It could be adding a community center, enhancing the county library, adding services, or any other beneficial change. You have been asked to present a proposal for this change to the city council. In your proposal, you must explain the financial and non-financial benefits of the change to motivate the city council/supervisor to approve your proposal.
Create a 10- to 11 slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation of your proposal in which you:
Explain your proposal.
Why is this change important or necessary for the community?
What problem(s) will be addressed by the change?
What are the major elements of the proposal?
What is the desired outcome of the proposal?
Describe key factors (steps, processes, people) required to implement the change.
Who and/or what is required for the successful execution of your proposal?
Are there any potential partners and/or stakeholders involved? What role might they play in developing or implementing your ideas?
What potential challenges or obstacles should be addressed before implementing the change?
Explain the financial benefits of the change.
Explain the non-financial benefits of the change.
Conclude the presentation with a statement that will motivate the city council to approve.
