Cutting the budget of a high school athletics department

Scenario: The state is cutting the budget of a high school athletics department.
Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

 

Identify the sources of revenue that can make up the difference from the budget cut.
Assess how the department should be funded based on the budget cut.
Evaluate any potential ethical concerns that are associated with the different source(s) of revenue.
Compare and contrast the varying approaches used to fund interscholastic sports, intercollegiate sports, and professional sports.

Casino Current Event Presentation

Find a minimum of two current events relating to the Casino/Gaming Industry. You will then turn in your presentation to me for review. Provide an overview of the articles; discuss critical information on the topic of the article, and how this is relevant to the course.
Each presentation will be 10 minutes, with a minimum of 6 slides (excluding title and reference slides) and a maximum of 15 slides. Record a narration in their PowerPoint and turn it in below to me for review and grading. I will also create a discussion board for us so you can share the articles you found with the rest of the class so we can all see what we’ve found as a class.
This article should be current within the last 2-3 months and be on relevant issue within the casino/gaming industry seeing as the industry in constantly changing. If you would like to check with me before you pick an article I am happy to review it. Please consider look at articles that are timely and that discuss the industry as it stands right now.
