Using business drivers and analysis of effectiveness correlations
Download the file http://resources.careered.com/LCMSFileSharePreview/Resources/MSWordDocument/MGMT600_Unit%205%20Sample%20Data.docx
Prepare a chart similar to the one in the downloaded file to indicate whether the correlation between Variables A and B were found to be positive, negative, or minimal. Provide explanation and justification for your decisions.

In your own words, explain what it means if the correlation of 2 variables is positive, negative, or minimal (close to 0), and give an example of each.

What do you deduce from the correlations? Explain if you believe these to be short or long-term objectives and outcomes.
What are the implications for Big D Incorporated regarding their client in the outdoor sporting goods?
What are the implications for the penetration into the indoor sporting goods market?
Also, how can you use the correlation tools to identify the variables in the research toward the expansion into the indoor sporting goods market?

Research Analysis

Select a specific family stressor (e.g. mental illness, substance abuse etc.) or life transition (immigration, death
of a spouse etc.) you would like to explore further. What does the research reveal about this topic? How might
the stressor impact the family system? What would need to occur for the family to adapt rather than go into
crisis? What resources or community services would you recommend to help support the family?

Research Analysis

Write research papers that include areas of health insurance, actuarial science, statistics, economics, mathematics, and covid-19. It should use actuarial, statistical, and mathematical knowledge to explain how covid19 affects health insurance (or economics but not necessary) in the US, and it should focus on statistics and mathematics aspects. Before writing, try to answer the following questions: What particular problems are you working on? Why are these questions interesting? What do you expect for the conclusion of the research? Research papers must contain quantitative data (at least 3 pages), both mathematical models and statistical models (at least 1), a number of actuarial/mathematical/statistical formulas (mathematical formulas mean upper college-level formulas rather than basic mathematical formulas) in the research to illustrate the problem. They can be cited but must explain specifically, how and why these formulas/data/models are useful for this research. Based on the resources, try to answer the question you initially post.

Components of a Problem Statement

A problem statement is typically a 1 to 2 paragraph statement and that contains a logical argument for the need to address an identified gap in the research literature that has current relevance to the discipline and area of practice. Keep in mind that a gap in the research is not, in and of itself, a reason to conduct research. Make sure to clarify the problem that led you to the gap. The situation being experienced in a societal population or discipline is described within the problem statement.

A problem statement also includes preliminary evidence that provides justification that this problem is meaningful to the discipline or professional field. Provide three to five key citations that support the relevance and currency of the problem. These references need not all be from peer- reviewed journals but should be from reputable sources, such as national agency databases or scholarly books, and should ideally be from the past 5 years. Another item to consider is to assure that the problem is framed within and primarily focused on the discipline (program of study).

To prepare:

– Review the media program on “Developing Social Problems into Research Problems for CRQ” found in this at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udfldYXvUxw&feature=youtu.be
– Review your Research Problem Document – 4 Day Work Weeks

Assignment 1
In this short writing assignment, you will provide a one- to two-paragraph problem statement that is the result of a review of research findings and current practice in I/O Psychology,

Draft of Research Design

Explain the research design and methods that will be used to address the business problem you
identified in Milestone One, justifying why they are appropriate for your research study. To support your
research design, describe the methods you will use, the key variables, and ethical considerations involved in
using the research design.

Interpersonal relationships.

Question 1- Outline and evaluate two contrasting theories of interpersonal relationships. Support your evaluation with cited evidence. (LO1/AC1.1) WORD COUNT GUIDANCE: 500-600 words (The two theories need to be Matching Hypothesis and Social Exchange Theory) Question 2- With reference to research, analyze each of the various stages of relationships. (LO2/A/C2.1) WORD COUNT GUIDANCE: 600-800 words a)Formation b)Maintenance c)Dissolution The 600- 800 words need to be divided between all three of the above. Question 3-There are many different aspects of interpersonal relationships. Please discuss two positive and two negative effects that interpersonal relationships have on the individual.

Research on Mount Isa Mine.

Write an introduction and conclusion for research on Mount Isa Mine. I attached one of the sources that you could use but you will also need to use other internet resources. the paper should adress mine design aspects such as:
a) Main Openings to the mine (how many openings and what type of openings like a “shaft”).
b) Production
c) mine life
d) ventilation
e) mining method
Since you going to write the intro and conclusion, you might not need to write about all of this. But things like the mining methods, type of ore deposits, and access openings should be included along with the history of the mine.

Research Analysis

1- State your hypothesis
2- State your variables
3- Background on the topic
4- Reason for choosing this topic
5- What do you hope to learn or gain from this culminating research
6- Materials and Methods (both must be in paragraph format- what you did, how you did and what you used)
7- Findings:
List data or findings only- you will discuss what they mean in the discussion area
Data tables and charts
Graphs (Use appropriate graphs for your findings)
Picture(s) of stage by stage Model / Prototype building
Discussion
A discussion of your results- what do they mean and how do the data relate to / defend your hypothesis?
Include a description of how the model / Prototype works and your findings
Conclusion

Research proposal

The Issue Proposal

“For this assignment, you will write an essay proposing the issue you would like to research and write about for the Research Project. You will explain the controversy surrounding your chosen issue and explain why you want to write about this issue, what you already know, and what you still need to learn.

The correlation between the use of fertility drugs and ovarian cancer.

Stanford University medical researchers conducted a study on the correlation between the use of fertility drugs and ovarian cancer. Their study, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, concludes that the use of the fertility drugs, Pergonal and Serophene, may increase the risk of ovarian cancer by three times. The lead author of the studies, Professor Alice Whittemore, stated, “Our finding in regard to fertility drugs is by no means certain. It is based on very small numbers and is really very tenuous.”

FDA Commissioner David Kessler would like the infertility drug manufacturers to disclose the study findings and offer a warning on the drug packages. He notes, “Even though the epidemiology study is still preliminary, women have a right to know what is known. We’re not looking to make more of this than there is.”

If you were a manufacturer of one of the drugs, would you voluntarily disclose the study information?
