You will compose a 2 page paper describing how your chosen social institution serves as a positive space and how this relates to the various identities and ideologies which inform that space. You should not avoid the more negative or unequal aspects of your chosen institution but rather discuss how they are happening alongside the positive aspects. The media plays a significant role in shaping our perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors. One area where media has a profound impact is in the portrayal of gender roles. From movies and TV shows to advertisements and social media, media platforms often perpetuate certain stereotypes and expectations related to gender.

Organizational Behavior in the media
You should pay attention to the current media during this class (by media I mean popular press such as newspapers, magazines, film, etc.). For this assignment you should write one brief (1 Page or less) summary of an interesting and noteworthy example of organizational behavior in the media.
