Choose one patient factor and one environmental factor that contribute to delayed wound healing. Then, discuss the biological basis by which these factors delay wound healing.

Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) work in a variety of settings and are valued members of the health care team. Understanding the role of the RPN within a chosen specialty will provide students with an introductory understanding of the RPN scope of practice and role clarity.

Adolescents face significant biological, cognitive, and social transitions. Together, these transitions contribute to developmental milestones that move adolescents toward adulthood.
