“How It Feels To Be Colored Me” by Zora Neale Hurston

you’re planning for now. This enables you to get feedback. Remember to put your thesis statement in bold.
II. Topic Sentences: For each body paragraph, include your topic sentence. Remember that a topic sentence is like the thesis statement of the paragraph. It
outlines what you’re going to do in that paragraph.
a. For each paragraph, include one detail other than the topic sentence. For instance, you could include what descriiptions, quotes, or details you’re going to
use as evidence for the claim you’re making.

The affects of the use o literacy devices has on the novel

The paper is going based of the novel Picture of Dorian Grey( https://www.gutenberg.org/files/174/174-h/174-h.htm ) I chosen the topic literacy devices because it a broad topic and there a lot of evidence to show for in the book but if you find a stronger topic i won’t mind you using that instead. In the file attachment is a screen shot of my instructor rubric

Analysing a piece of literature

Pick a piece of literature that we’ve studied this semester. Continue to analyze and research that piece of literature. Also, research the author of the piece of literature. Learn as much as possible about the writer who wrote that piece of literature. In the paper, attempt to answer the question, how does the writer’s life appear in the work/literature? In this paper, you’re equally writing about both, the life and work, and attempting to answer the question, how does the life appear in the work? The answer to this will more than likely be the thesis statement and focus of the paper.

How many of the literary elements can you incorporate to help you get this done?
Examples of what we’ve studied so far are as follows:
The Story of An Hour Kate Chopin.
Battle Royal By Ralph Ellison.
“Dream Variation” by Langston Hughes.
“The Lottery” by Shirley Jackson.
“Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
“Krapp’s Last Tape” by Samuel Beckett.

The literature review

The literature review is an important aspect of any piece of research. It provides background information on a topic and allows the researcher to determine gaps in the studies that should be researched further.
For this assignment:
• Select a health issue/concern in a health-related area of interest to you (e.g., heart disease, diabetes, substance abuse)
• Research for information on that particular topic
• Find at least six studies that address this area of concern
• Write a three to four page literature review, which summarizes what you learned from your research in the library
• In your conclusion, assess the potential recommendations for future research (what specifically should be further studied to uncover ways to address this concern, or determine what surveillance techniques could be used to monitor the health problem, etc.) NOTE: You are not to recommend programs that should be developed to address this problem, your focus is on research, not program development. Think about this question: what do we need to discover through research to further address (or understand?) this issue?
