Law enforcement officers

Law enforcement officers can be more effective carrying out their duties and responsibilities if the community sees them as having a legitimate authority by the citizens they serve. officers need to remember that they are they are to protect and serve the community. Our county also has a civilian panel that oversees officers use of force. This should also help with transparency. Our department also puts on several civilian police academy throughout the year. The academy educates the community on what officers do and how fast they must respond to certain incidents. At the end of the day, we want the community to perceive officers as trustworthy and unbiased decision makers.

However, with the advancement of technology, there is also a concern for privacy.
