Write an expository essay on Parent’s Foul Means.
An expository essay is writing that explains. You can write a descriptive essay that describes the topic. Or you can write an essay that identifies or acknowledges a problem and offers a solution. Imagine a reader who has not read Parent. How would you you explain his work? Be sure to document your work. You must engage at least four of the chapters we read.
Andy Warhol famously said, Art is anything you can get away with. What do you think that he meant by that statement? Using Warhols Campbells Soup Cans (29.15) or another example, discuss the impact of Warhols work on contemporary art. How could this work be interpreted as a social statement?
