Company’s financial reports

In preparation for the Week 4 Summative Assessment, research your company’s financial reports from the past fiscal year, along with the market conditions from that same year.

In a 1- to 2-page chart, compare your company’s current financial reports with the market conditions from the previous fiscal year. Focus on interest rates, Federal Reserve Bank monetary policy changes, or other market conditions relevant to the company you selected.

The enterprise needs to maintain information about the customers of each branch

The enterprise needs to maintain information about the customers of each branch, as well as administrative information about its offices. Your job is to design a data distribution plan in which each branch can maintain information in its local database for its customers but also access customer data from other branches without having to store that information in its local database. In addition, the headquarters of the enterprise can maintain administrative information about all the branches in its enterprise. Assume that your enterprise has two branches, one in Phoenix and one in Denver.
For this activity, provide a single Microsoft Word document that fully responds to all the following prompts in 750-1,000 words:

  1. Create a new Employee table with a minimum of 5 employees. Include the following columns: empID, empName, empGender, empPhone, empDOB, and empWorkLocation. Take a screenshot.
  2. Explain and apply horizontal partitioning to this table. Take a screenshot validating that the partitioning has been completed.
  3. Write a SQL query to reconstruct the complete table after partitioning. Take a screenshot of the query and its results.
  4. Explain and apply vertical partitioning to this table. Take a screenshot validating that the partitioning has been completed.
  5. Write a SQL query to reconstruct the complete table after partitioning. Take a screenshot of the query and its results.
  6. Explain how and why data replication should be addressed in this environment. What replication strategies are available and how do they work? How do data replication/partitioning impact reliability, expandability, communications overhead cost, manageability, and data consistency?
  7. Explain how and why data partitioning and replication impact the creation of IT and technology infrastructures, creation of plans and schedules, measuring performance, and ensuring quality.
Submit the following in a single Microsoft Word document through the digital classroom. Include a one-line description above each screenshot.
    • Screenshot of Employee table
    • Paragraph explaining horizontal partitioning
    • Screenshot of SQL query and result to apply horizontal partitioning
    • Screenshot of SQL query and result to reconstruct the complete table
    • Paragraph explaining vertical partitioning
    • Screenshot of SQL query and result to apply vertical partitioning
    • Screenshot of SQL query and result to reconstruct the complete table
    • Paragraph explaining data replication, strategies, and impacts

Clinical issue of interest and using keywords related to the clinical issue of interest

Review the Resources and identify a clinical issue of interest that can form the basis of a clinical inquiry. Keep in mind that the clinical issue you identify for your research will stay the same for the entire course.

Based on the clinical issue of interest and using keywords related to the clinical issue of interest, search at least four different databases in the Walden Library to identify at least four relevant peer-reviewed articles related to your clinical issue of interest. You should not be using systematic reviews for this assignment; select original research articles.

Review the results of your peer-reviewed research and reflect on the process of using an unfiltered database to search for peer-reviewed research.

Reflect on the types of research methodologies contained in the four relevant peer-reviewed articles you selected.

After reading each of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected, use the Matrix Worksheet template to analyze the methodologies applied in each of the four peer-reviewed articles. Your analysis should include the following:

The full citation of each peer-reviewed article in APA format.
A brief (1-paragraph) statement explaining why you chose this peer-reviewed article and/or how it relates to your clinical issue of interest, including a brief explanation of the ethics of research related to your clinical issue of interest.
A brief (1-2 paragraph) description of the aims of the research of each peer-reviewed article.
A brief (1-2 paragraph) description of the research methodology used. Be sure to identify if the methodology used was qualitative, quantitative, or a mixed-methods approach.

CASE STUDY: Preschool Child: Ricky

Ricky, age 4 years, arrives in the clinic with his mother. Ricky lives with his mother and father,
who both work full-time, and his infant sister. Their extended family lives in a different state
more than 100 miles away. Both parents are of average height and in good health. Ricky’s
mother mentions that Ricky often expresses frustration, particularly in regard to food. Conflict
over food occurs every day. Mealtime is a battle to get him to eat, unless his mother feeds him.
Ricky’s baby sister seems to tolerate all baby foods but requires her mother to spoon-feed.
Ricky’s mother is quite frustrated and concerned that he will become malnourished.
Reflective Questions
1. What additional assessment information would you collect?
2. What questions would you ask, and how would you further explore this issue with the
mother?
3. In what ways does the distance of the extended family influence this family’s approach
to health promotion?
4. What factors would you consider to determine whether malnourishment is a factor in
this family?

Leading effectively as a social worker.

write a paper explaining your vision for leading effectively as a social worker. In your explanation, apply a theoretical perspective from social work and a leadership style (as examples, leadership styles might include transformational, transactional, Laissez-Faire, or other leadership styles). Use an evidence-based approach to explain your chosen leadership style and evaluate the skill set (strengths and weaknesses) associated with the leadership style that guides your approach.
