The concept of Total Quality Management

write a brief memorandum explaining the concept of Total Quality Management describing how this approach would apply to the case study found on Dresang: Exercise, Form 18. You must briefly explain which diagrams and charts referenced in Dresang: Exercise 5 would be most beneficial in addressing the issues reflected in the case study, and what purpose each would serve in process management.

As with all graduate-level assignments, you are expected to comport yourself with the highest writing, research, and ethical standards. To do well on this Administrative Memorandum: Process Management Assignment you must conduct high-quality research and offer a rich, well-supported analysis; mere opinion or conjecture will not suffice.

Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 (ECPA

Explain how privacy can be legally protected. Summarize the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 (ECPA). Discuss the “intrusion into seclusion” concept.
Describe the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Summarize the three issues pertaining to marketing ethically.
After posting your original response (at least 75-100 words per question), read other postings and post a response to at least two classmates (at least 75 words) using the following ABC Approach.

Seat belt wearing be mandatory

Make two contrasting normative arguments about what one ought to do. Both arguments will be about the same topic; thus, at least one of the arguments will contradict your personal opinion.
Topic:
Should seat belt wearing be mandatory?
Develop Logically Contradictory Normative Conclusions
Develop two logically contradictory normative conclusions on this topic. You do not need to agree with both (or either!) conclusions, but you should be able to logically support both of them.
The conclusions need not be phrased exactly the same as they are phrased in the topic list, but they do need to be logically contradictory to one another.
Write Normative Argument for First Conclusion
Choose your first conclusion and write a normative argument in standard form to reach that conclusion. This requires knowledge of the standard form of logical arguments, which you can find in 2.1.1 What Is an Argument?, and understanding of normative arguments, which you can find in 2.1.2 Identifying Arguments and Statements. Because normative arguments rely on standards of human behavior, you should also review 4.3.3 Moral Frameworks. The directions in the template will give you further instructions.
Write Normative Argument for Second Conclusion
Here is an example of two arguments with normative conclusions taking contrary points of view. The normative premises are marked with an asterisk. This serves as an example of what arguments look like in standard form. This topic may not be used for your own Touchstone.
Americans are granted the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as a foundational principle of its founding documents.
Among these rights are bodily autonomy and personal decisions about family planning.*
Forcing a parent to go through an unwanted pregnancy and childbirth violates these principles by taking away their basic right to liberty and long-term pursuit of happiness.*
Forcing a parent to go through an unwanted pregnancy and childbirth also frequently presents a threat to the life of the birth parent.
There is no constitutional or scientific reason to confer personhood on a fetus.
Any opinion on the personhood of fetuses is thus not based on law or science, but a personal moral or religious choice.
The Constitution (Amendment 1) establishes the freedom of religion.
Therefore, any law derived from a religious stance is unconstitutional (from 5-7).
Therefore, pregnant people have the right to terminate a pregnancy for any reason (from 1-4, 8).
It is wrong to kill a human being without justification such as self-defense.*
An unplanned pregnancy may be inconvenient, but only in rare cases does it present a threat to a person’s life.
In no other cases besides abortion do we make it legal to murder people who inconvenience us.
Born children are also inconvenient, but it is not legal for parents to kill them.
In no other cases besides abortion do we make it legal to murder the born children of rape or incest.

Obesity

Review the agenda priorities of the current/sitting U.S. president and at least one previous presidential administration.
Select an issue related to healthcare that was addressed by two U.S. presidential administrations (current and previous).
Consider how you would communicate the importance of a healthcare issue to a legislator/policymaker or a member of their staff for inclusion on an
agenda.

Project Management Plan

Submit section IV of the Project Management Plan using the template provided. This work will cover the critical element risk. Go over the activity in Module Three to help you with this milestone.

Note: The case studies for this project regularly reference the use of MS Project. While MS Project is a software tool that is often used for project management, the focus of this course is to understand the process, not this particular tool. As such, you will not be using MS Project to submit case study assignments. Suggested templates needed to complete the critical elements of the final project are listed in the Project Management Plan Template.Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

Sources: Identify likely sources of risk for the project. Make sure to consider the project scope, budget, and time.

The State and Future of Big Data Processing Platforms

Introduction: Give an overview / abstract of the paper to come. This is a few paragraphs summarizing what the paper is about and pointing to its conclusions.

Body: The body of the paper can be organized into several sections, each covering a topic related to Big Data Processing:

Section 1: Define Big Data

Define and explain Big Data including the five characteristics of Big Data (volume, velocity, variety, veracity, and value).
Give examples of how the 5Vs affect Big Data Processing. Discuss the challenges and solutions to handling Big Data in any compute environment and some of the “rules” that must be followed.

Section 2: Evolution of Big Data Processing Platforms

Discuss how Big Data processing has changed from the early Hadoop days to today. Discuss how the processing frameworks evolved to take advantage of changes in computer hardware.

Section 3: Future of Big Data Processing

Discuss the current trends and challenges in Big Data Processing. Predict the future of Big Data Processing (e.g., new platforms, new paradigms, new applications, and new challenges). Identify and explore at least 1 up and coming Big Data Processing framework not discussed in class. Compare and contrast it to frameworks we discussed in class.

Conclusion:

The conclusion should summarize the main findings of the paper and provide recommendations for future research and practice. It should also acknowledge the limitations of the paper and suggest directions for further investigation.
