Collective effervescence,’ as the sociologist Emile Durkheim

The second research paper requires the student to (a) consider the role that ‘collective effervescence,’ as the sociologist Emile Durkheim described it, played in the various responses to the most recent pandemic. Note bene: (b) an exposure to the specific information provided in the narrated PPT on conspiracy theory must be demonstrated in the body of the second paper. This work must (c) include at least two authoritative references drawn from the period 2022-23.

I had someone do this, but i recieved not a good grade. Please help make it better.

here is the professers notes:

considerable work remains to be done.

dig deeper into the research on collective effervescence.

review the reqts of the piece listed in the syllabus, e.g. demonstrate an exposure to the specific information provided in the narrated PPT on conspiracy theory.

expand the number of sources from authoritative/academic sources. The best way to do so is to rely on the search engines of the DePaul library. The librarians of the university are also an invaluable resource; a brief chat with one should provide good information.
There are more than a few curious statements in the piece, e.g. ‘To use collective effervescence safely during the pandemic, encourage appropriate conduct.’ and ‘Collective effervescence has helped and hurt the COVID-19 epidemic.’

Eliminate the considerable amount of redundancy throughout the body of the work.

Tiered Words

This reflective journal entry serves as documentation of your completion of Learning Activity 7: Tiered Words.
Identify the words from Learning Activity 7: Tiered Words that you would select for instruction. Describe a strategy for teaching those words and include
considerations that you would make for English language learners and students who benefit from multiple methods of vocabulary instruction. Identify how
you would incorporate oral/aural language and writing to enhance vocabulary learning.

Aspects of the Diamond of National Advantage

Choose 1 country that the organization you’ve been working on in this course could consider expanding into.

Read the selected article uploaded below

Analyze that potential international market by considering the 4 aspects of the Diamond of National Advantage: industry rivalry, demand conditions, related and supporting industries, and factor endowments.

Analyze the forces (in the home market and international market) that will help the organization succeed with its expansion and the forces that may act as barriers to that expansion. Refer to your analysis of strengths and weaknesses completed in Wk 1, the Porter’s Five Forces worksheet from Wk 3, and your analysis of the Diamond of National Advantage.

Evaluate the 4 adjustments leaders must make when expanding internationally (Burkus, 2012). Recommend 1 specific leadership action for each adjustment, such as developing a global mindset, developing sensitivity to cultural differences, decentralizing, deciding on the level of involvement, etc.

Recommend whether the organization should expand into the chosen country. Explain your rationale.

Create a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation to present your analysis and recommendation. Include the following sections in your presentation:

A cover slide
An agenda
Identification of the country you have chosen (1 slide, with brief speaker’s notes)
1 slide for analysis of each of the elements of the Diamond of National Advantage (4 slides, with speaker’s notes)
A summary of analysis of the forces that will help the organization succeed in the new country (1 slide, with speaker’s notes)
A summary of analysis of the forces that will hinder the organization’s success in the new country (1 slide, with speaker’s notes)
Leadership actions required to make the 4 adjustments identified by Burkus (2012)

Information on Roman architecture

This week you will read about architecture. The lesson includes information on Roman architecture, which was greatly influenced by the Greeks and Etruscans.

Locate at least two architectural works that were influenced by Greco-Roman architecture. These can be from any time period after the Greco-Roman period but should be from different periods themselves (e.g., one from Renaissance and one from Baroque). Then address the following:

What is the function of each structure?
How does each work exhibit influence of the Greco-Roman period? Is the influence specifically Greek, Etruscan, or Roman – or a combination?
How would you compare the two selected works? Take the role of the evaluative critic.
Use examples from the text, the lesson, and the library to help support your answer. Please remember to provide images and citations to help illustrate your points.

QSEN

What is QSEN? Explain how QSEN relates to this course.

Use your personal experience, if it’s relevant, to support or debate other students’ posts. If differences of opinion occur, debate the issues professionally and provide examples to support your opinions.

The concept of a knowledge worker.

Review the concepts of informatics as presented in the Resources.
Reflect on the role of a nurse leader as a knowledge worker.
Consider how knowledge may be informed by data that is collected/accessed.

Explain the concept of a knowledge worker.
Define and explain nursing informatics and highlight the role of a nurse leader as a knowledge worker.
Include one slide that visually represents the role of a nurse leader as knowledge worker.
Your PowerPoint should Include the hypothetical scenario you originally shared in the Discussion Forum. Include your examination of the data that you could use, how the data might be accessed/collected, and what knowledge might be derived from that data. Be sure to incorporate feedback received from your colleagues’ responses.

Prestigious practice

You work in what you consider a prestigious practice. The office is modern, there is a large staff, and the dentists in the practice appear to be financially sound, but you are concerned about the assignment of duties. Routinely, the dentists assign some of the clinical staff duties for which you do not feel qualified or you have not had previous training or experience.

You have asked the doctors if this is okay for them to do, and they always confirm that they can assign the staff anything to do as long as the assignment is by a licensed dentist.

You are concerned. What can you do? What is the consequence of these assignments by the dentist or for the assistant who may perform the assigned task?

Historical Tour Of Italy- Verona

“In fair Verona, where we lay our scene…”
Shakespeare’s opening lines to Romeo and Juliet paint the picture of a quaint town dominated by two opposing families.  While you won’t find the Capulets and the Montagues running around today’s streets of Verona, you will find a very charming town that steps back in time, complete with small shops and cobblestone streets.  Its Roman heritage is hard to deny, and here you will find the third largest colosseum in all of Italy.  Today the colosseum is home to an annual opera festival.  A quick online search for Verona’s Opera Festival (or Arena di Verona Festival) will yield some breath-taking pictures!
Verona is also home to some beautiful cathedrals.  Take the opportunity in this unit to examine some of those churches and to learn essential vocabulary for the architecture related to cathedrals.  Words like “nave,” “transept,” “buttress,” and “apse” are commonly used when discussing the various parts of a church’s floorplan.  Understanding what each of these terms means will help you as you navigate through later units in the course.
In the worksheet for this unit, feel free to remove the lines provided for your response.  You may even choose to use a second color for the headings and the questions.  Include your response in black font in the space provided on the worksheet.
Geography
Locate a map of the historic center of Verona. Mark the following locations with a circle or a highlight: (1) Castelvecchio, (2) Roman Arena, (3) Casa di Giulietta, and (4) Church Santa Anastasia. Be sure to document your source using APA Style.
Key Terms
Provide your own definition for each of the following terms:
• Flying buttress
• Fresco
• Latin Cross
Shopping in Verona
What is the name of the market square in Verona, Italy?
What types of things are sold in the market square?
Art and Architecture in Verona
Name two Catholic churches in Verona.
Explain the painting technique of fresco, and identify two frescoes in any of Italy’s churches. Explain what is depicted in each fresco. Then, discuss why the artworks that you selected stand out to you.
Choose any church or cathedral in Verona. Briefly explain the church or cathedral’s history and then examine the layout of the church. Find a picture of the building’s floor plan, and include it in your response. Be sure to explain what is located in each part of the church or cathedral, researching and explaining any terminology you do not know. Use APA Style to cite the sources you use. Your response should be a minimum of 500 words.
