Word cloud generators have become popular tools for meetings and team-building events. Groups or teams are asked to use these applications to input words they feel best describe their team or their role. A “word cloud” is generated by the application that makes prominent the most-used terms, offering an image of the common thinking among participants of that role.

What types of words would you use to build a nursing word cloud? Empathetic, organized, hard-working, or advocate would all certainly apply. Would you add policy-maker to your list? Do you think it would be a very prominent component of the word cloud?

Nursing has become one of the largest professions in the world, and as such, nurses have the potential to influence policy and politics on a global scale. When nurses influence the politics that improve the delivery of healthcare, they are ultimately advocating for their patients. Hence, policy-making has become an increasingly popular term among nurses as they recognize a moral and professional obligation to be engaged in healthcare legislation.

Security Awareness

No training plan is in place for the company you chose, and many members of the upper management argue that there is no need to have one. However, your supervisor has asked you to research the compliance and/or audit standards that your organization must adhere to maintain these requirements and then write a proposal to address the training needed for the company.

 

You are required to write a three to five (3-5) page proposal in which you recommend the need for security awareness training. In your proposal, be sure to:

Identify compliance or audit standards that your organization must adhere to.
Identify security awareness requirements for those standards.
Identify training methods to meet those requirements (In house, contract or CBT).
Assumptions

You should assume that your company will have to accept credit cards as payments.
You should assume that no current awareness/training plans exist for your company.
You should assume that all offices and groups need training.

Describe the evaluative criteria (indicators or variables) to be addressed in answering each evaluation question.
Describe the research approaches to be used to answer each question and why they are appropriate to the evaluation questions posed.
Describe in specific detail how data will be collected related to each of your evaluative criteria/indicators. Discuss exactly how the data be collected, when, and by whom. Describe any data collection tools in terms of their development and appropriateness in answering the evaluation questions. Provide information on validity and reliability of tools, if available. Explain why the data collection methods are appropriate to the research approach, type of data, and purpose of the evaluation.
Describe how you will analyze the data, including specific statistical tests to be used. Include dummy data tables if applicable to show how you will display your findings.

 

 

History of Western Architecture

Choosing a building of the period 1700-1910 that adopted Gothic or medieval architecture as a source, explain how the designer’s understanding of the architecture of the earlier period affected their design approach. [You could answer this in different ways, but should ideally look at some of the architect’s writings on medieval architecture, or writings that they were aware of and made use of; and include some detailed analysis of the building to explore how they were applied. You could also subdivide the essay thematically to address different points, each with some analysis of the building.]

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT And CONTROL

The National Education Group Ltd (NEGL) is the owner of Jeddah school. NEGL is currently renting a building to use as a primary school in Jeddah. The lease contract will end one year from now, one month after the end of the next school year. NEGL has decided to build a new school at a suitable location close by, they already own the land. This new building must be ready to operate at least one month before the first day of the school year after the next. The school’s summer holiday lasts for 3 months.
Your company, Abni Consultancy Firm (ACF) has decided to bid to offer the project management services required for this project. NEGL has not taken decision yet regarding the Strategic Project Plan (SPP). However, NEGL has declared some information about the project including the 4000 m2 size of the project area, and that the school must include 2 classrooms per year group, supplementary classrooms, drawing and craft studies, computer labs, multipurpose rooms, a main hall, a restaurant, an administration section, an indoor playground, an outdoor play area and car parks. The building must be limited to two floors. The school will accommodate 240 students. Your manager has also told you that for NEGL cost is not a big concern.
ASSIGNMENT SPECIFICATION:
You have been asked by your manager to develop a draft report to cover some components of the SPP:
• Project scope,
• Project delivery method,
• Contract type,
• WBS, and
• Draft schedule.
• Develop a safety plan (extra 250 words – 5 points bonus)

Architect Daniel Libeskind is credited with saying “To provide meaningful architecture is not to parody history, but to articulate it.” The suggestion is that his work does not copy the efforts of others but relies on it.

Understanding the work of others is critically important to new work. Contributions to the nursing body of knowledge can happen when you are able to analyze and articulate the efforts of previous research. Research analysis skills are therefore critical tools for your toolbox.

Reflect on the strategies presented in the Resources this Module’s Learning Resources in support of locating and analyzing research.
Use the Walden Library to identify and read one peer-reviewed research article focused on a topic in your specialty field that interests you.
Review the article you selected and reflect on the professional practice use of theories/concepts described by the article.
The Assignment:

Using the “Module 3 | Part 3” section of your Academic Success and Professional Development Plan Template presented in the Resources, conduct an analysis of the elements of the research article you identified. Be sure to include the following:

Your topic of interest.
A correctly formatted APA citation of the article you selected, along with link or search details.
Identify a professional practice use of the theories/concepts presented in the article.
Analysis of the article using the “Research Analysis Matrix” section of the template
Write a 1-paragraph justification stating whether you would recommend this article to inform professional practice.
Write a 2- to 3-paragraph summary that you will add to your Academic Success and Professional Development Plan that includes the following:
Describe your approach to identifying and analyzing peer-reviewed research.
Identify at least two strategies that you would use that you found to be effective in finding peer-reviewed research.
Identify at least one resource you intend to use in the future to find peer-reviewed research.
