The Social Disparity
Once you have identified and analyzed the leading disparity for the community/population, define the social disparity and how you plan to address it with the community. Be thorough and specific related to the problem, interventions, and expected outcomes.
Plan
In this section, you will detail your plan to improve your community. This is the section for your interventions. Interventions must be achievable, measurable, and time limited. Include the information gained from the Social Determinate worksheet to build the plan. Include the individuals from the city and the community you will work with, for example, the mayor, the police, the local church leaders, etc. Plans should be detailed, realistic (funding and supplies), time-limited, and measurable.

Evaluation
Because this is a simulation, you will not have an actual implementation for evaluation, but you will have an evaluation plan. How would you measure the success or needed adjustments to the plan? Did the intervention help correct the issue? How would you know? Explain how these interventions will increase the quality of life for the people in your chosen SC community.

The patient’s family arrives to take her home, and they discover that she now has an IV and will not be discharged for 2 days. They ask, “What happened? Proposed Topic: Appropriate Training and Coordinated Strategies have the Effect of Diminishing Cyber-Attacks in Healthcare Organizations.

Problems are addressed: The research topic that I selected shows the importance of reducing cyber-attacks by taking steps such as educating employees and reform strategies. Coventry & Branley (2018), find that “the bulk of cyber-attacks happen due to the negligence of employees, and companies do not have proper strategic planning to tackle it” (p.31). I have been working in the healthcare industry for around 6 years, and I find many data breaches happen due to a lack of knowledge about cyber security. In the proposed topic, I will discuss how proper training and strategies can reduce the impact of cyber-attacks. In addition to that, I will provide some recommendations to improve the situation. In the previous literature, the discussion does not cover the importance of training and strategies, but I will cover those areas such as training and strategies that were covered in my research paper.

Trends are found that are related to My Topic

Industries spend millions protecting sensitive data from unauthorized users. The trend is to protect personal information by implementing cyber security. Nowadays, companies are aggressive in terms of implementing security in every stage of their applications (Tully et al., 2020). In addition to that, healthcare companies are most vulnerable to cyber-attacks due to keeping clients’ personal information, and those cyber-attacks happen due to the negligence of employees or lack of responsibility from the company’s side (Coventry & Branley, 2018). The main reason for choosing the topic is to follow the trend to protect data by implementing a proper strategy and appropriate training for the employees.

The Gap in Previous Literature

After reviewing some research papers, I discovered a gap in evidence where they only focus on policies and adopting new technologies to prevent cyber-attacks, but the core issue is employee cyber security training and involvement in dealing with the situation. In my research paper, I want to discuss how organizations’ strategies and employees’ involvement go hand in hand (Tully et al., 2020, p.11).

Allowing consumers to have a choice within healthcare is extremely important. Getting consumer feedback and ideas is one thing a company can use when marketing. People looking for healthcare want to see the provider is patient focused in all aspects, such as physically, emotionally, and even financially. Taking ideas from our consumers and implementing them will only help strengthen other consumers experiences. Utilizing social media is another way to attract those who are partaking in medical tourism because it gives your organization an opportunity to sell it self. Being able to show the kind of services to people prior to them making the decision to travel such a long way will build their confidence with your organization. Providers who partake in medical tourism are able to provide customer intimacy and involvement by thoroughly describing services, treatments, and any aftercare that may be needed in the future. Creating a strong relationship starting from the marketing to when we see the patient is vital to the success of the organization as well as the patient and their health outcomes.
