Strategic planning process

Examine the strategic planning process. Imagine that your organization is planning to build a pediatric clinic in your local community. Review the pediatric clinics in your neighborhood.
Determine one external and one internal factor that you should consider in the strategic planning of your clinic.
Determine three reasons why strategic plans fail. Recommend a strategy to overcome each of the reasons you identified and include concepts from readings throughout your program or from peer-reviewed journal articles.

Key concepts or foundational theories

What are the key concepts or foundational theories from the entire eight weeks of class? How does it apply to your current work or academic environment?

Q1.List two areas that are within your personal responsibility. How to develop personal responsibility?

Q1.Name 2 steps to control your time and name 2 steps to combat procrastination.
Q2. What are your current goals?

The opportunity to use a mapping program that is used in the state of Massachusetts

You will now have the opportunity to use a mapping program that is used in the state of Massachusetts. You are going to work your way down to one house and will look at this house as a SWAT team exercise.

As instructed below, you will go to the state’s mapping Web site to see its actual mapping program. You will utilize the state’s mapping to address the questions below. Follow the step-by-step instructions.

Instructions

Go to https://maps.massgis.digital.mass.gov/MassMapper/MassMapper.html
Click “Enter”
In the upper center of the screen where it says: “Enter a Location,” enter the following exact search term: “BEACH ROAD & GLENWOOD AVENUE, SALISBURY, MA, 01952” (copy and paste it for accuracy, including the &amp).
Then look to the immediate right of the address bar, and click on the layered icon, and select: “2021 Aerial Imagery”
Zoom to Beach Rd and Glenwood Ave, and find the corner house with a red vehicle and a silver vehicle and two structures. Any views of the doors and windows at the residence are not visible from the aerial view. The front of the residence is not visible, and it is not clear as to whether or not the residence is a two-story structure.
Assessment

Conduct an assessment of the residence and the neighborhood. Use the following questions to help you conduct the assessment. Add any questions to this list that you think will help in conducting this assessment.

How many stories does the residence have?
What direction is the residence facing?
North
South
East
West
Are there any residences located near the target location?
Yes
No
Describe the residences
Where are these residences located?
North
South
East
West
Describe the location
Does the residence have a fenced backyard?
Yes
No
Are there any odd or unique entities about the backyard worth noting? (Examples are swimming pool, a lot of trash in the yard, vehicles in the yard).
Describe the details.
Once you have completed your assessment, compose a 3 – 4 page narrative that uses the information you compiled in your assessment and that answers the following questions:

If you were heading a SWAT team, in which direction would you advance to get to this house?
Is there a wooded area?
Is there any cover?

Evaluation/Synthesis Plan

Conduct an evaluation of an academic program. This report may be on a
program identified by the CIMA student, or for a program identified by the instructor. A sample program
with course materials will be posted in the course management system. The sample program will be in
CANVAS and will include the syllabus for each class in the program (a Master of Science program).

Prohibited Employment Policies/Practices

Go to the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and review the section titled Prohibited Employment Policies/Practices
Provide examples of two of the following that you or someone you know has experienced or witnessed: unfair recruitment, employment application, and interview process. Investigate the extent to which the chosen technique or method left room for prohibited employment practices. Next, recommend key corrective actions that an organization could take to mitigate prohibited employment practices.

PDSA Practice Improvement Plan

PDSA Practice Improvement Plan CC5.c
The PDSA project will provide the student the experience to initiate and coordinate planned change in a health care organization. The purpose of this assignment is to engage the student in analysis of an evidence-based practice scenario within their clinical experiences. process. The assignment will be divided into four phases.

Part I: Plan

I plan to: Here you will write a concise statement of what you plan to do.

I hope this produces: Here you can put a measurement or an outcome that you hope to achieve.

Steps to execute: Here is where you will write the steps that you are going to take in this cycle. You will want to include the following:

Problem Identification: Identify a clinical problem that you observed in the clinical site. Digging up clinical problems can start with observations of clinical practice on your unit, asking staff about the problems they face when delivering care, looking through policies and procedures and guidelines of care to assess if there is a standard or policy to improve practice. Talking with patients about their perceptions of the care they are receiving and asking clinical questions that address the clinical implication of the observation. Is there a problem, a patient, or a population there is negatively affected by the present standard of practice? Once this P factor is determined without a present resolution, them a clinical question should be developed using the PICO process.
The population this could be a patient, a problem, a population, a unit, a division, or organization problem.
The time limit that you are going to do this project—remember, it does not have to be long, just long enough to get your results. You may set a time limit of 1 week but find out after 4 hours that it does not work. You can terminate the cycle at that point because you got your results.
Review of literature: What level of knowledge is out there to address the problem, are there any evidence-based guidelines already published. Most of the literature reviewed should utilize systematic reviews, meta-analysis, or clinical guidelines. Individual studies review expert opinion articles and clinical articles can be used as supportive literature for clinical issues with limited research.
Part II: Do

After you have your plan, you will execute it or set it in motion. During this implementation, you will be keen to watch what happens once you do this.

What did you observe? Here you will write down observations you have during your implementation. This may include how the patients react, how the nurses react, how it fit in with your organizational system. You will ask, “Did everything go as planned?” “Did I have to modify the plan?”

Part III: Study

After implementation you will study the results.

What did you learn? Did you meet your measurement goals? Here you would

Part IV: Act

What did you conclude from this cycle? Here you will write what you came away with for this implementation, whether it worked or not. And if it did not work, what you can do differently in your next cycle to address that. If it did work, are you ready to spread it across your entire practice?
