Imagine you were to seek a Psychologist for yourself in relation to a current issue, describe what type of intervention and micro-skill would be most effective to help you with that issue? Your response will have to incorporate relevant academic literature as well as personal reflection.

My issue is that I have an alcoholic husband and a minor child who are alcoholic despite being the sole provider/breadwinner for the family.

3. Describe a micro-skill you would hope your counsellor would use and explain why this micro-skill would be effective in helping with your issue.
4. Refer to relevant academic literature (journal articles and books) to support your reasoning. You must reference at least 3 academic references (journal articles or textbooks), not including the textbook.
5. Adhere to APA 7 formatting and referencing guidelines
