Problem: There are two cell phone companies – Perizon and S-Mobile.
· McKenna has a cellular plan through Perizon. She has a monthly base plan that costs $20 then pays $.05 per minute used that month. Write her cell phone plan cost in terms of minutes used.
· Carter has a cellular plan through S-Mobile. One month he used 20 minutes and paid $3. Another month he used 52 minutes and paid $7.80. Write his cell plan cost in terms of minutes used.
At what point will McKenna and Carter pay the same amount for their cell phone bills for the month? How many minutes will they each use and what will be the cost?
