By now, you have learned a lot about the usefulness of portfolios in evaluating student learning. For this journal entry, decide on the type of student portfolio (e.g., writing) you plan to incorporate in your classroom. Write a paragraph in which you describe the portfolio and identify a minimum of six artifacts that would be included. Explain the criteria you would use to evaluate the artifacts and discuss how the student’s portfolio would assist you in monitoring and evaluating student progress.
