Imagine you are helping a family member (who has never taken a Public Speaking class) prepare to deliver a speech. Share your ideas to create an appropriate delivery by answering the following questions:
How should they use the space available to present a formal presentation?
How should they use language appropriately in the speech? Include any linguistic techniques from this week’s readings that you are planning to use.
What do you consider the criteria for effective vocal and physical delivery? How should they incorporate this criteria into their speech?
What should they avoid when delivering their speech?
