NAEYC defines curriculum as including “the goals for the knowledge and skills to be acquired by children and the plans for learning experiences through which such knowledge and skills will be achieved” (NAEYC). This assignment will evaluate your skills and abilities at planning developmentally appropriate lesson plans for two-year-old children.
The Assignment
You will write a single lesson plan that will be taught to children 24-35 months old in a child care classroom. Your lesson will be developed as a result of your observation in a 2-year-old classroom.
