In late 2019, employees at Facebook sent a letter to the company’s executives in response to Facebook’s decision not to ban political advertising that included misinformation. While the letter went public, and was likely intended to do so, it’s aimed at the Facebook leadership, and it uses rhetorical strategies to appeal to that audience specifically.
